1. COMPLETING THE APPLICATION WITH THE STUDENT ESSAY - WRITTEN BY THE STUDENT.
2. TWO LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION.
3. PARTICIPATING IN THE GROUP INTERVIEW - MAKE UPS FOR THIS ARE ON JANUARY 31ST AT 1:30 PM. PLEASE CONTACT THE SCHOOL TO BE INCLUDED IF YOUR STUDENT HAS NOT INTERVIEWED.

8 Days until the AMAZING SHAKE!!!

This year, the New Mexico Art Education Association selected LCPS to receive the Certificate of Recognition.
This award goes to an outstanding school district, who has demonstrated support for and commitment to high-quality music education programs district wide.


Congratulations to Dr. Wendi Miller-Tomlinson, last night she was recognized during the Board of Education meeting after she was named the 2024 NMMEA Administrator of the Year.

Joseph Flores, LCPS Fine Arts Coordinator of Teaching of Learning, was recognized during the Board of Education meeting last night for his recent induction into the 2024 New Mexico Music Educators Association (NMMEA) Hall of Fame.

Emily Bennett was recognized during Tuesday's School Board meeting for earning the New Mexico Art Education Association Art Educator Advocacy Award.

The district formally inducted the late educator and statesman J. Paul Taylor to the Legacy Wall, recognizing several members of the Taylor family who were in attendance. Taylor served the district for 34 years as a teacher, principal, and administrator.
