Hello WSS Families,
Starting Nov. 1st White Sands School is kicking off their Campus Kindness Drive here on WSMR. The goal of this event is to empower our students into giving back to our community while applying learning outside the classroom. One of the best gifts we can give is our time into teaching our children how to give back to our community. As individuals we are what makes our community so great!
This year WSS is creating a Karen's Closet inside our school that will be available to anyone in our community as well. Once opened it will be available during schools and on occasional weekends. The purpose of the Karen's Closet is to assist our community with having children's clothing(Birth to Young Adult) available for free along with many other items that any of our children may need to be happy and healthy. Please see the flyer below for donations that we are looking for.
Donations can be received by Lara Walter at White Sands School during school hours of 8:30a-2p unless otherwise scheduled.
Also, going forward clothing and items not claimed in the lost and found box will be donated to our Karen's Closet here at School versus an organization in town.
Volunteering 🙋♀️ I have talked to CYS Parent Central and volunteering can earn parent participation points! Woot woot!
