Middle School Handbook Committee 2022
White Sands School is looking for families to participate in making suggestions editing our Middle School Handbook. Please fill in this form if you are interested in participating in the committee and feel like you can work collaboratively with all school stakeholders to reach consensus. We will meet once a week from 3pm-4pm every Wednesday ON ZOOM beginning October 19th. Hopefully, we can wrap this up by the end of November, but please allow through December 7th in your calendar if we need extra time. After our committee drafts these new policies, we will allow some time for the broader school community to comment and bring the draft policies to our school's leadership committee for final approval or edits. This will enable us to have these policies in place when we return to school after the winter break! We will look for input from 1 6th-grade parent, 1 6th-grade student, 1 7th-grade parent, 1 7th-grade student, 1 8th-grade parent, and 1 8th-grade student. If we have more volunteers than the slots allotted, we will do a live drawing to select our representatives for the committee, and committee members will be notified by Monday, October 17th.
